Hamilton Artists Inc. is currently hosting Environs, an exhibition which “examines how artists’ environments influence their art practice. The exhibition explores the influences of rural and urban Hamilton neighbourhoods and the people that may be met within these environs.” My friend and accomplice John Smith has a new piece in the exhibition, which extends and amplifies on the techniques he developed in Pixels + Pitches. At the show opening, his multimedia work kept me entertained, engaged, and in wonder, as usual. Check it out this week if you get a chance!
